=== Usage ===
This template is used by [[Template:WPAFC]] and [[Template:AFC submission]] to determine the appropriate date category for submissions to [[Wikipedia:Articles for creation]].

If the timestamp parameter {{para|ts}} is passed then:
* submissions dated later than 1 September 2008 are categorised into a daily category, e.g. [[:Category:AfC submissions by date/23 February 2009]];
* submissions dated earlier are categorised into a monthly category, e.g. [[:Category:AfC submissions by date/April 2008]].
All undated submissions are placed in [[:Category:Undated AfC submissions]].
