Dating the categories is a nice idea, but at current rate of uptake the top category is sufficient, and avoids having to create a dated category each time. |

This template is for new users to place on their user or talk pages. It will automatically add them to Category:Wikipedians having been offered adoption, or a dated subcategory thereof.
This template is used for the user adoption process. When the user is adopted, remove this template and replace with {{Adoptee}}.
