Backup Your WhatsApp Account
If you've made the decision to leave WhatsApp, either due to concerns over data usage, you can delete your account completely.
Before proceeding make be aware that deleting your WhatsApp account is a one-way street. Once you delete it, all your messages will be erased, including multimedia files. It's crucial to save photos before taking this step.

1 Start by opening WhatsApp on your phone or accessing the whatsapp web website using a desktop browser.
2 Click on the three dots on your desktop browser, located in the top-right corner of the screen.
3 Tap on 'Settings', to open the settings panel.
4 Navigate to the 'Account' section, and look for the 'Account' section.
5 Look inside the 'Account' section, and tap on an option that says 'Delete my account.'

Note that if you've used WhatsApp Business or WhatsApp with multiple numbers, deleting one account won't delete all of them. In this scenario, you'll need to delete each account separately.
Removing WhatsApp from your phone doesn't delete your account, so you can still delete your account even if you've removed the app from your phone.
